About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly skilled System Administrator to join our growing team. If
you’re passionate about server stability, security, and automation—and thrive in complex environments, this is the opportunity for you.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux systems while
also supporting Windows servers, virtualization platforms, and backup/recovery
environments. You’ll ensure operational continuity through proactive monitoring,
vulnerability assessments, upgrades, and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Server Deployment & Configuration: Deploy, configure, and optimize Linux and Windows physical/virtual servers.
  • Hardware & Storage Management: Monitor hardware performance, manage RAID/NAS/SAN systems, and ensure hardware reliability.
  • Security & Hardening: Apply patches, configure firewalls (iptables/Windows), manage access control, and conduct vulnerability assessments.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Use SSH/iLO access for server health monitoring and maintain detailed logs for auditing and diagnostics.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery: Implement and verify server backups (Clonezilla or similar); document and test DR plans.
  • Virtualization & Cloud: Administer virtual environments (VMware ESXi, Hyper- V, KVM) and assist with hybrid cloud integration.
  • Patch Management: Schedule and deploy OS and application updates while minimizing downtime.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and automation tools (Ansible preferred).
  • Performance Optimization: Diagnose bottlenecks and optimize systems for high availability and responsiveness.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough records, including user logs, change management, backup procedures, and incident reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience with Linux system administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL)
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server environments
  • Experience with VMware ESXi, cloning, and virtual machine management
  • Strong scripting ability with Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible
  • Familiarity with storage technologies (RAID, NAS, SAN)
  • Ability to handle emergency support scenarios and conduct OS rescue operations
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Associate’s degree in information technology or similar field
