How to Set Up Your Android TV Box
- Step 1: Connect the cables
- Plug the HDMI cable from your Android TV Box into your TV’s HDMI port.
- Switch your TV input to the corresponding HDMI channel.
- Step 2: Power on and pair the remote
- Turn on the Android TV Box.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your remote control.
- Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your remote control.
- Choose your Wi-Fi or wired network connection. (It varies, as some of them work better on 5G than on 2.4G. However, these devices typically function best on a 2.4G network)
- NOTE: Skip the initial Google TV setup prompt, you’ll configure your account later. CLICK CANCEL WHEN IT PROMPTS.
- Step 4: Access the App Store
- From the home screen, navigate to My Apps > then Google Play Store.
- Step 5: Set up Google Play
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Sign in with your Google account.
- Once signed in, you’re ready to install apps.
- Step 6: Install Nexgen TV
- In the Google Play Store, search for Nexgen TV.
- Download and install the app.
- Step 7: Log in to Nexgen TV
- Open the Nexgen TV app.
- Enter the credentials provided to you.
- e.g Service ID: 460, User: nexgen, Password: 123456
- You’re now ready to start streaming.
